Today it was the usual, go to the locker room, get dressed. laugh and yell at each other and joke around. Tyler was telling me about how crazy the workout was going to be. I was totally dreading doing it, cause i was still a little sore from Friday, but that ten mile recovery run with Susannah really helped the soreness. We went up to the track and did two laps warm up and agilities, and distance was doing agilities separate cause all the sprinters and throwers thought they only had to run one lap warm up so they were ahead of us. We eventually got to the work out and i was to do 2x (1200, 3x 400, 200) my splits were: 3:48, 69, 69, 68, 34, 3:44, 67, 67, 65, 34. it was actually pretty hard and i could really feel the burn in my legs! I felt really good that i was speeding up and working harder, i love to push myself! I then did a mile and a half cool down and then stretched in the locker room, it was way nice that i finished before everyone else, cause it started to pour rain, and Karlee had a cramp in her leg so I was able to run over and help calm her down while Paxton stretched her leg. I'm way excited for the Viewmont meet wednesday and the Davis Invite Saturday cause i'm going to PR everything and i get to spend more time with Susannah!! |
