Well Today we had a workout in the rain!!! it was raining slightly when we went up to the track and was told to do 800m warm up. Then the fun began, like usual i'm up front by myself, pushing myself cause Tyler was doing a different workout and Dustin was taking an off day. It wasn't too bad running by myself again it was just harder to push. But i did it!! so we did 800m warmup and then began static stretching and agilities. Me being me completely forgot to wash off the INDIA written on my left calf and the SH for Susannah Hurst on my right calve  :P (i don't mind you initials staying there :D made my right hamstring feel really good while running!) so everyone was wondering why in the world did i have those written on my calves. and what did SH stand for. well i wouldn't tell them and then Jace and a few other people did and i got really embarressed and they started teasing me for it!! ha ha ha i love our team :D ok sooo our work out today was yes from the MRS. EVIL PAXTON!!! dun dun dun!!! ha ha ha it was 3x (800, 400, 200, 200) my splits for each set went, 2:21. 71, 34, 34. second set. 2:20 69, 33, 34. and then last 2:21, 67, 32, 28. it actually was a pretty hard work out, definately challenging! but i was feeling drained really bad, i don't know why but i wasn't feeling not motivated at all to be running, although i had been looking forward to it from a day of literally testing for every single class (4 total) but by the end of the work out i was fighting, pushing, reaching for that 67 and trying to keep my 800's consistant! i did! i was basically speeding up each time too! i'm starting to get smarter with my start to, instead of going way fast, i slow it down a little and then pick it up and i felt that it got me through the workout! it had been raining most of the time, pretty lightly most of the way through which felt pretty darn nice! then when Jace, Jason and I were on our last set is when it really started to rain! it felt way nice and we were making our hair go crazy!! :P once we were done (and we finished before the sprinters for once in the decade!!! don't know how that happened!) ha ha so Jace and i cooled down for a mile and while we were going down the hill i decided to slide down it surfer style which was fun! Ice bath time!!! it was and this time a ton of kids wanted to do them (usually only three or four, but this time about 6 or 7) it was about 50 degrees when i got in and we added more ice but since Big Ben decided to go all the way in, Hone and I had to add more water cause we had to let some out when Ben was in. I stayed in for about 17 minutes and it felt soooooooooo nice afterwards!! my hamstrings are feeling great!!! AND I PROMISE YOU SUSANNAH I WON'T INJURE THEM!!!! :D :D <3
